I. Plane rides are long
A. Going to Hawaii
1. It took 7 hours
2. It felt as if it was going slow
B. I was bored
1. I didnt have anything to play with
2. I didnt sleep the whole ride.
II. Fireworks are dangerous and fun
A. New Years party
1. My cousins & I made bombs
2. We could hear fireworks far away
B. Lighting the fuse
1. I got burned
2. I didn’t run away fast enough
When I was going to Hawaii, the plane ride was 7 hours. For the first hour, movies were showing, so I wasn’t bored. When the movie was over, I was so bored. I did’nt bring anything to play with. I could’nt even sleep.
When I looked out the window, it looked as if we weren’t even moving. Now I know that I should stay up for one day before I go on the plane, so I could sleep on the plane. Also, bring toys, so that I won’t get bored.
On New Years Eve, my family had a countdown until New Years. My cousinss and I made bombs. We could even hear fireworks from far away. When it was New years, all my cousins lit their bombs. When I lit mine, I accidentaly burned my thumb. I tried to light the bomb one more time. When I lit it, I was so happy that I didn’t run away fast enough. The bomb exploded on me. Now I know that when I light something, never face the ligher down. Also, run away from something that is going to explode fast.

First, look around your pictures’ setting to check if there is good exposure. After that, try to make have a good aspect ratio. A pretty picture, for me, is a picture with the background having a back lit of the sun. In the dark, it is also good to use your fill flash. To have an even better flash, use a hot shoe.
When you are ready to take the picture, look inside the viewfinder. When looking in, press the shutter half way, to focus. After focusing, press the shutter all the way. Then, SNAP! You have taken a picture. Your picture will be saved in your flash memory. When you view the photo, you can see the resolution of the photo. Then, when you upload the picture, you can upload it as a thumbnail.

Here are the 3 questions I put on my survey: Who do you thik is hotter? Chris Brown, Nick Jonas, or Taylor Lautner; Which is your favorite song? Love Bug, Its Over, or She’s Happy; And How do you like your hair? Straight, curly, or waivy. I decided to ask these questions because I am curious about what the GATE students like. When i recieved the answers, I was very surprised. Students happen to think that there are other guys hotter than Chris Brown. Students think there are “awesomer” songs than Love Bug. Also, some students think that hair being straight is cool. So far, I recieved 38 survey answers, including me.
The survey that I took, that I thought was awesome, was from Taylor C. I think that only she had a survey that asked which sport do you like. I don’t think I saw any other surveys that had a question about sports. So, I decided to put in basketball as my answer.

During Halloween day, there were a bunch of activities going on. Once I walked in, almost everybody was dressed down. It was hard to tell if they were in a costume, or just “dressing down”. There was a different schedule for the day. There were only a few classes that day. In the morning, homebase/teamtime, there was a group of kids that would come in to deliver a Halloween gram. For half the day, it was just “regular” classes. Next, after the classes went by, it was the dance.
The dance was a little bit of fun and boring. The boring part: First, the DJ wouldnt stop talking. Second, some of the music was STALE. Lastly, the DJ’s system broke down. The fun part: First, there was some good music. Second, all of my friends were there. Lastly, the system started working again. So the dance was not the “best” dances we have had so far, but atleast we had one!<Br>
Here is what THEY thought:
Darielle[as a president of 7C]: “The candy grams were a hassle! The dance was a “sucker”. I have been to better dances.. but atleast we had a dance! I think it was kinda sucky-ish and fun.”
Wencee[as a student]: “Man, the DJ wouldnt stop talking. I want a better DJ! But the day was fun for me.”
Brandon[as another student]“: “Everything sucked on Halloween. But I loved the costumes people wore.”
So they did have some good thoughts, and bad thoughts. Atleast they thought the day was fun!

I could rememeber my 12th birthday. I was sick. Ididn’t have any sleep at all. When I made the party favor, my brother didnt know that I only made enough fior people coming to the party. I was so mad. When I got to the restaurant, the table was alittle messy, so WE had to clean it up!! When the party started, I had an awesome birthday cake. The next thing you know, I fell asleep in the movie part of the party.
At my dinner party, I slept the whole way. My mom woke me up to eat cake. I ate cake and fell asleep while eating the cake. So my parents said the party was over. When I got home, I was wide awake on the computer. I stayed up until about 2 in the morning. I still counted staying up late as my party. & that’s how my birthday party went.

Hello, I’m Aly. Come to my party on April 12. I get an education at Untalan Middle. My 4 bestfriends are Joleen; Chris; Mj; & Stpehen;& Brandon.. I like to hangout with them during break time at school. I love basketball. Basketball is my #1 sport and hobby.
